These roles are key members of multiple Finance Business Partnering teams who work closely with Department of Health operational units. The four roles are all based in Brisbane but may be required to work at multiple sites.
Two roles exist within the Finance Business Partnering team supporting Pathology Qld. These roles are based at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital campus in Herston, but will be required to regularly work from the Forensic and Scientific Services site at Coopers Plains.One role exists within the Finance Business Partnering team supporting Biomedical Technology Services (BTS) and System Procurement. This role splits its time each week between the BTS site at Coopers Plains and 41 O'Connell Terrace, Bowen Hills.One role exists within the Finance Business Partnering team supporting the Supply Chain Branch (SCB). This role works from 41 O'Connell Terrace, Bowen Hills but regularly attends the Central Pharmacy and Central Warehouse sites in Richlands. The role may also be required on occasions to attend laundry sites at the Princess Alexandra and The Prince Charles Hospitals.Role Fit: The essential requirements for this role are:
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the provision of financial services, including management accounting concepts, practices, and strategies; and financial management legislation, policies, and procedures.Demonstrated knowledge and skills with the use and development of contemporary financial reporting practices, reporting fundamentals, and the understanding of financing, cost and revenue structures, drivers, and the relationship between each.Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and experience.Well-developed communication, negotiation, and consultation skills within a multidisciplinary workplace.Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage a heavy workload, competing priorities, and the ability to meet deadlines and establish work priorities.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to understand formula-driven financial models and prepare data analysis and reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
