About the opportunity

Specifically focused on Retirement Living, you will develop, review, and analyse key performance indicators, offering guidance on market trends to managers and executives. Support the executive team by identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains. Participate in operational meetings and workforce planning to guide financial decision-making. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and implement reporting enhancements (e.g., Property, Fleet, Payroll, Purchasing, HR, IT). Perform complex investigations and scenario analysis to inform decisions on future strategies, focusing on cost-benefit modelling for projects and initiatives.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include Systems capability: Enhance business analysis by using datasets and Power BI to sift large data sets and drive decisions. Improve reporting and analytics using IBM Cognos Planning.Reporting: Complete monthly management and Board reports. Lead operational and trend analysis, and ensure quarterly reports and year-end statistical analysis.Financial Accounting: Collaborate with the financial accounting team to improve data integrity, ensuring compliance with policies and legislative requirements.Future Planning: Lead annual budget and forecasting, ensuring timely delivery. Utilize Planning Analytics for future planning, and report to the Head of Reporting and CFO.Training: Improve financial knowledge through training at operational and corporate levels. You are a positive role model with a proactive approach for delivering exceptional customer service. You have a Bachelor degree in Finance or a related field, preferably with Aged Care experience and a strong reporting and analytical background.

Experience in business partnering or advisory roles in high-performance, fast-paced environmentsProficient in building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and handling large datasets (5+ years)Skilled in Planning Analytics, reporting, and statistical analysis within tight timeframes, including Board submissionsProven decision support in multi-service environments with strong communication and influencing skillsAbility to work independently with strong financial management and Excel expertiseExperience with Aged Care provision and regulatory frameworks is highly regarded Our Benefits
