This top-tier ASX mining company is looking for an experienced analyst with mining experience to join the finance team and hit the ground running.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the operational financial planning and analysis function. The Senior Analyst works closely and collaboratively with various finance and operational stakeholders day to day.
Responsibilities:
Delivery of regular financial reporting, modelling and presentations.
Preparation of consolidated budgets, forecasts and other ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and drive insights.
Develop financial models to support business decision-making.
Analyse financial data and create financial reports for decision-making purposes.
Identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to source data, understand drivers and support delivery on identified projects.
Experience:
Uni Degree in Accounting and CA/CPA qualified.
Extensive experience in finance including accounting, business planning, financial analysis and management reporting.
Experience in mining, or comparable/related industry.
Experience in process improvement, model building and proficiency with Anaplan and Power BI.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
AU$140000 - AU$155000 per annum + Bonus / Benefits / Mining / Perth
