About the role
The Senior Business Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis is instrumental in driving financial performance across the business by delivering data-driven financial insights and support to JB Hi-Fi and The Good Guys finance business partners. The role works directly with the Group's Supply Chain team to optimise financial performance and strategic decision-making.
Support for JB Hi-Fi and The Good Guys Finance Business Partners:
Query, extract, and process data to support reporting, commercial analysis, and insights.
Analyse and report on large data sets to deliver actionable insights across key business areas, including product categories, stores, online, supply chain, and major strategic initiatives.
Effectively communicate with and influence key stakeholders across the Group to drive business outcomes.
Key Business Partnering:
Collaborate with financial reporting teams to deliver monthly Group Supply Chain financial reports, including thorough result interrogation and reconciliation.
Develop and analyse supply chain and logistics operational metrics to drive process efficiencies, enhance the customer experience, and improve financial and operational results from logistics partners.
Partner closely with the Supply Chain team to create strategic plans, develop business cases for investment in strategic initiatives, and serve as the bridge between operations and Finance.

Qualifications:
Advanced user of Excel, BI and visualisation tools (Power BI)
Preferred expertise in data analytics / modelling
Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance with CA/CPA certification
