About the role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced family lawyer to join the dynamic team at Daykin Family Law in Brisbane.
As a Senior Family Lawyer, you will play a key role in providing expert and high level legal advice and support to clients navigating complex family law matters.
This full-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative and supportive team while enjoying a healthy work-life balance.
What you'll be doing Advising clients on a wide range of family law issues, including property settlements, parenting, child support and spousal maintenance Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations and negotiations Drafting legal documents such as Binding Financial Agreements, Binding Child Support Agreements, consent orders, parenting plans and documents for court proceedings Conducting legal research and analysis to support the team where necessary Providing exceptional client service and managing client relationships Mentoring and guiding other team members What we're looking for 4-5 years + of post-admission experience (PAE) in family law Demonstrated expertise in family law, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and case law Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to provide clear and practical advice to clients Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with a commitment to providing exceptional client service Admitted to practice law in Queensland and a current practising certificate Experience in running your own family law files, with guidance and support where necessary from the Director What we offer Opportunities for professional development and participating in industry events Supportive and collegial team environment About us Daykin Family Law is a leading family law firm in Brisbane dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to clients.
