About the role: As the Senior Facilities Services Officer you will provide operational and specialist advice and support to various areas of the department regarding infrastructure, planning and asset management related business activities, systems, policies, projects and programs of work.
Responsibilities include: Assist with the preparation, analysis and presentation of data to ensure regular and accurate reporting on related activities.Manage operational issues to ensure identified outcomes and timelines are met.Provide secretariat support to support project or program governance.Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support the day-to-day operations of the work team.Undertake, from time to time, all other duties necessary to support the efficient and effective management of team objectives, timeframes and functions.Our ideal candidate would possess these skills: You're a team player - you are able to demonstrate how you can lead activities and support others to achieve the end goal.You're conscientious - you pay attention to detail, display drive for continuous business efficiencies and improvements; and are committed to meeting timeframes and customer service standards.You're motivated - you understand contemporary facilities and asset management principles and practices and have confident communication skills to provide professional advice relevant to the tasks at hand across a variety of audiences.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
