Your Opportunity This role will oversee the facilities management function for Mission Australia's leasehold property portfolio nationally.
Working in collaboration with National Manager Leasehold and Facilities, this role will be responsible for developing and delivering a Facilities Management Framework and Strategy across Mission Australia's leasehold property portfolio.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Be To: Develop and implement the Facilities Management Framework and Strategy for the leasehold property portfolio ensuring compliance, WHS, legislative and lease obligations are met. Prepare and maintain annual planned maintenance schedules. Develop and implement sourcing and contractor strategy for Property to ensure value for money and compliance. Develop and implement streamlined processes and tools for the use of internal stakeholders. Develop and embed a 'Standard Design' approach for MA building occupation and fit-out standards and norms and monitor these for compliance. Support the service delivery teams to understand and manage their obligations for the leasehold properties that they occupy. Develop strong and effective consultative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Participate in organization wide projects as a facilities management SME. Requirements for Success Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, operations or engineering role. Experience in developing and delivering facilities management strategy in a commercial environment. Sound knowledge and understanding of building legislation and WHS practices nationally. Extensive knowledge of facilities management including understanding of operation of soft and hard services, project management and fit-out management. Ability to manage contractors, consultants, project managers and builders to achieve cost effective outcomes and deliver projects and works on time and within budget. General understanding of lease obligations and contracts as they relate to building and facilities management obligations. Ability to manage budgets and multiple projects simultaneously. Effective and efficient time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strategic mindset.
