Accounting Sydney Contract Government Administration 14/6/2024 The Negotiation Lead is a Senior Executive role responsible for overseeing and directing the Negotiation Team, for high value high profile infrastructure maintenance contracts.The role involves leading negotiations to achieve key outcomes, working in partnership with several internal stakeholders including working closely with the Project Director and Project Manager.The role also provides updates and recommendations to the Steering Committee established purely for the contracts to be negotiated.Joining the team as the Lead Negotiator for these contracts offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and sustainability of our infrastructure while contributing to the success of our organization.Specific Key Accountabilities Provide direction and guidance to the negotiation team.Provide strategic advice and assessment of risks involved to the Project Director and Project Manager.Oversee the development, confirm, and present to SteerCo, the Negotiation Strategy.Implement the Negotiation Strategy including negotiation tactics based on Steward positions.Managing and resolving conflicts that may arise during the negotiation process.Identify potential cross-stream risks associated with the negotiation and developing mitigation strategies.Make key decisions on negotiation points and strategies in consultation with Project Director and SteerCo.Leading negotiations with the Stewards having regard to technical, financial, commercial and legal advice.?
