What you will do as the Senior Executive Assistant:
Proactively manage a complex diary.
Anticipate requirements, negotiate outcomes, prioritise the Chair's time and ensure materials for all meetings and events are provided in a timely manner.
Arrange appointments, speeches and meetings (with internal and external parties) and circulate associated information and coordinate responses to stakeholders.
Interpret and apply understanding of ACCC/AER frameworks and policies to advise the AER Chair, CEO and colleagues on straightforward and complex issues that arise in managing the AER Chair's office.
Manage records in accordance with approved processes, including coordinating, providing input to (where appropriate) and tracking responses to more complex correspondence to ensure that all deadlines are met.
Assist in managing documents across the ACCC and AER, including proofreading, editing, drafting and collating.
About you:
In order to succeed in the role, you will have:
The ability to provide highly effective executive and administrative support to a CEO/Chair, or similar.
A strong understanding of the AER's roles and functions, and ability to engage with key and senior internal/external stakeholders.
Experience in providing support to senior management, and the timely coordination of key cross-organisational processes.
Proven ability to partner with the EAs and the SES Unit to actively contribute to the development and support of the department's Executive Assistant Network.
