Salary: $108,109 to $116,864 – ASO7 – Full Time / Term Contract (temporary up to 14 November 2025)
The Office of the Deputy Chief Executive are seeking a strategic leader who thrives on complexity and is passionate about driving impactful change. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with the Deputy Chief Executive of the Clinical System Support and Improvement, delivering high-level strategic advice and overseeing critical initiatives that shape our organisational future.
Overview:
Lead the delivery of timely, high-level strategic advice to the Deputy Chief Executive of Clinical System Support and Improvement, while coordinating and executing complex, technical, and sensitive policy work that impacts strategic, political, and operational outcomes for the division.
Provide effective leadership and support to ensure the successful delivery of key projects and policy initiatives that align with Government requirements.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and engage with DHW executives, business units, and staff to ensure strategic alignment and integration, helping the Division fulfill its obligations.
Establish and cultivate a network of strategic alliances with key stakeholders across government and within DHW, working autonomously to provide authoritative advice.
Manage politically sensitive issues, identifying and addressing unresolved or emerging challenges on behalf of the Deputy Chief Executive. You will also plan and lead additional project and policy work to guarantee the effective delivery of key initiatives that meet Government expectations.
