We are looking for someone with a broad range of experience across mining, oil & gas, and natural resources.Job DescriptionFirst principles estimating in the energy and resources sectorPreparation of capital cost estimates to meet industry standard estimate classification guidelinesApplication and efficient utilisation of approved work breakdown and cost breakdown structuresAn ability to work effectively as part of a team, to ensure that all deliverables are metSupport key tendering activities, including preparation of pre-tender estimates,Analysis of construction project change and the provision of feedback on areas of risk and opportunitiesWorking collaboratively and seamlessly with all other key project and programme functions such as; cost, risk and planning teamsAnalyse and assess costs and estimates provided by suppliers and contractorsProviding process and technical estimating support production of feasibility studiesProvide estimating support to manage project budget and scope (Value Engineering)QualificationsMust be in Australia and full working rights.A recognised Degree Qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, MRICS / AIQS accreditation or other relevant qualification is idealAt least 5+ years relevant estimating work experiencerelevant sector experience - preferably in Natural resourcesProficient in the use of CostX, Unifer, Ecosys, PRISM, Candy or other equivalent toolsProficient in the use of ExcelAbility to demonstrate attention to detailTeam player with the ability to work autonomouslyExcellent command of written and spoken English with report writing skills; andHighly motivated and passionate individual, showing a clear ability to deliver great outcomes for clients.Additional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
