In this role you will be responsible for building accurate cost estimates for pre-contract tenders and developing estimates in the form of lump sum, budget estimates and schedule of rates build ups for a diverse portfolio of major construction projects, Engineering Studies, Priced Front-End Engineering Design and Concept Design projects.Who we areWe are a pioneering project delivery company.

These are just a few words that describe you.Your focus will include:Developing accurate pricing models from the client or engineering supplied data.Utilising Industry based norms and published data to develop first principle estimates.Producing direct and indirect estimates, including allowances for risk and contingency.Maintaining relationships with suppliers and industry bodies to ensure that new materials, techniques, and methodologies are utilised to provide a cost-effective solution.Working directly with the Project Development team to align the estimate and the methodology.Collaborating with the Planning team to align the estimate and the schedule.What you will bring to the team:5+ years' minimum experience in an estimating role (either structural/mechanical/piping or electrical and instrumentation) within the construction/engineering industry.Experience with heavy industrial, oil and gas, or mining projects.Experience with database estimating packages.Sound organisation and time management skills, in particular working remotely as the role requires interaction with project development teams across Australia.Well-developed oral and written communication skills.We have created an environment that brings out the best in our people.
