Senior Estimator

We currently have a role for an Estimator with some exposure to Engineering to provide a central point of contact with technical and engineering support to the bids, tenders and proposals department, focusing on estimates for tender deliverables.THE ROLE & OPPORTUNITYDevelop detailed cost estimates for complex construction, engineering, and/or mining projectsAnalyse project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labour estimatesCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate scope definitions and specificationsConduct risk assessments and incorporate contingencies into estimatesManage and mentor junior estimators, fostering skill development within the teamStay updated on industry trends, material costs, and subcontractor rates to maintain competitive pricingProvide support in tender submissions and presentations to clientsWHO YOU AREMinimum 5 years' experience as an EstimatorExperience working for an EPC/mining companySite project-based experienceBachelor/Diploma in Engineering desirable or suitably experienced trade background in the relevant fieldContractual and commercial acumen; understanding of contractual and commercial terminologyExposure to project schedules and construction and assembly methodologiesProficient in use of all Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel, Word and Power PointDemonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with clients, stakeholders, and key relationship members at all levelsTHE PERKSWeekly pay cycleRDO a monthEmployee Assistance program for you and your familyEmployee and family member discounts to over 200 Australian based retailers, including travel, hotels, fuel, shopping, and health insuranceAerison provides custom designed and built engineered solutions for industry.
