About the Company:This well-established construction business has been operating for 20+ years with a focus on delivering a high-quality product. They are currently going through a growth phase and are seeking a motivated and proactive estimator to join their team.
The Role:Be part of a busy estimating division that prides itself on its collaborative nature. The successful candidate will work across a variety of projects, which will allow for the expansion and development of your skillset.
Reporting to an experienced Estimating Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for tenders, variations (standard, non-standard, post-contract), and re-tenders.Review orders, tenders, and variations against documentation to ensure accuracy.Manage enquiries from suppliers, trades, and the Building team.Produce accurate documentation within budgeted timelines.Resolve ordering oversights and make amendments as required.Maintain a thorough knowledge of company products and services.Review site margins regularly.Consistently review and aim to improve ETS.To be successful you will need:First and foremost, a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a growing team.Minimum 3 years experience estimating in the volume space.Advanced Microsoft Office skills.Experience working with estimating software is a must.A strong work ethic and ability to multi-task. #J-18808-Ljbffr
