At least 10 years as an Estimator with a commercial construction company, managing projects up to $15 million.Background in both commercial and residential construction.Detail-oriented with exceptional planning and organisational abilities, with a knack for balancing stakeholder needs and timeframes.Highly proficient in communicating and diplomatically handling interactions.Strong skills in multi-tasking, initiative-taking, and problem-solving to ensure project success.Excellent computer skills and willingness to embrace new software programs. Bluebeam, CostX and Excel software experience highly desirableKey Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver detailed estimates for all costs associated with potential construction projects, adhering to Tender documentation or Client scope of works.Analyse project documentation to identify cost implications and areas for cost-saving opportunities.Review and interpret project drawings and specifications to ensure accurate estimations.Select tendering opportunities aligning with the Director's strategic vision and business goals.Drive the productivity and efficiency of the Estimating Team while mentoring and supporting their development.If you feel this role is for you and would like to be a part of our team, please click the "Apply" link to start your application.
