Senior Environmental Planner - Sydney

About the Company: A privately owned and independent consultancy that offers a wide range of services, is seeking an experienced Environmental Planner to join their growing team in Sydney. As a Environmental Planner you will be involved in a range of projects, providing expert advice to clients, participating in mentorship programs, and contributing to the growth of the organisation. They have an impressive range of clients across multiple industry sectors, including education, aged care, non-profit, residential, health, commercial and industrial, led by a highly skilled and well-respected leaders.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee projects and planner teams, with a focus on driving business development and improvement strategies.Ensure successful project delivery by managing client and regulatory expectations, driving projects to completion.Provide expert planning advice and services for projects in NSW, to local and State legislation.Interpret and advise on the procedural requirements of councils and state agencies.Prepare various planning documents, including but not limited to Planning Due Diligence Assessments, Statement of Environmental Effects, and Environmental Impact Statements.Engage with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to facilitate project delivery.Requirements: 5-10 years of experience in education, health, and age care development is desirable.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of the planning regulations and processes in Sydney.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Prior experience in a planning role is preferredIf you are interested, please do apply with your CV and one of our consultants at LVI Associates will reach out.
