We also have a highly successful team of experts that deliver environmental assessment and approvals support to a wide range of clients across the renewable energy, infrastructure, mining, and development sectors.About the roleWe are seeking Senior to Associate level Environmental Consultant's with a minimum of 5+ years' relevant experience that are looking for an opportunity to leverage their technical skills and take the step up to manage and be responsible for projects, or those that are experienced project managers and are looking for an organisational environment that enables rather than constrains your professional goals.You will manage and deliver assessment and approvals projects for our clients, including the preparation of proposals, referral and approval documentation, internal reviews, schedule and budget management, and subcontractor and client liaison.Across Australia, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our experienced and multi-disciplinary Assessments & Approvals teams at all levels of the company, with opportunities to enhance your professional network with our national team and clients and contribute to some of the most exciting project approvals in the country.Tasks and responsibilitiesUndertaking subject matter analysis, research, and review in order to provide clear and targeted advice and strategy to clients.Preparing and delivering high-quality written materials to support environmental and planning approval technical requirements and applications.Preparing proposals and other business development documents.Schedule, budget, and project management.Liaison with subcontractors and clients.Engaging on behalf of clients with Local, State, and Commonwealth regulatory agencies.About youA degree in Planning, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.Experience (5+ years) of relevant environmental assessment, approvals and management work in Queensland with strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and guidance.Proven ability to manage projects on time, on budget, and to a high standard.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience and/or desire to build client relationships and networks with some business development experience.If this role sparks your interest but you don't meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
