About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Site Manager for the construction of a Solar Farm located within the Riverina Region. This is a contract role for the duration of the build, 6-8 months. Duties include (but are not limited to):
Drive environmental improvement initiatives, oversee assurance programs, and provide guidance on environmental management systems. Lead and support incident investigations, implement risk controls, and manage certification audits and other key processes. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance environmental awareness and process adherence across the workforce. Advise on environmental risks, regulatory compliance, and effective controls for day-to-day operations and maintenance. Oversee environmental requirements in project scoping, contractor selection, and project management for major initiatives. Skills & Experience: Degree or postgraduate qualification in environmental or natural resource management, with at least 5 years of advisory experience. Strong data analysis and reporting skills with proven experience in environmental auditing, incident investigation, and report writing. Excellent negotiation, influencing, and customer service abilities for building effective relationships at all levels. Commercial acumen to align environmental performance with business objectives, and adaptability in fast-paced environments. In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, environmental approval processes, and compliance monitoring/reporting methods. Benefits: Annual salary up to $150k plus super - depending on experience.
