The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.As a Senior Enterprise Service Manager (ESM) with AWS Professional Services team, you will build and consolidate the commercial relationship with large global organizations. You will collaborate with customer account teams and AWS partners to identify, develop, and execute customer consulting engagements. The role includes all aspects of business development, consulting, relationship development, delivery oversight in those accounts. This is a sales role and the ESM carries a bookings and revenue target.Key job responsibilities• Developing strong relationships with senior executives and enterprise teams to understand customer needs, desired outcomes and key results• Guiding customer along the journey of cloud adoption, core system modernisation and digital transformation, including modernization & migration of existing IT assets• Providing customer with a great experience when engaging with AWS ProServe, throughout the sales cycle to the delivery of high-quality engagements• Acting as an evangelist for the full portfolio of AWS platform capabilities and services to accelerate realization of customer outcomes through AWS cloud• Preparing and presenting commercial and/or strategic proposals to customer C-Suite and executives• Managing commercial agreements and creating Statements of Work (SOWs) with accountability of revenue targets for AWS customers• Working with relevant product specialist and delivery experts across AWS to enable customers on AWS CloudA day in the lifeA day in the lifeDiverse ExperiencesAWS values diverse experiences. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 10+ years of IT consulting and management experience, with demonstrable business and technology transformation experience in customer-facing roles- 5+ years experience in senior level executive engagement and advisory experience within FSI/Telco/Media- Extensive experience managing large Industry vertical accounts, IT and business consulting (relationship management, achieving growth targets / sales quotas, high customer satisfaction achievement, project portfolio management, contract negotiations etc.)- Experience with contract and statement of work (SOW) development- Strong analytical capabilities, relentlessly thinking big, championing innovative customer outcomesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Broad enterprise systems technology experience including IaaS / virtualization technologies, cloud, ML/AI, data- Experience in modernising core systems- Experience in advising customers on Cloud Operating Models and CCOEAcknowledgement of country:In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
