About the role We have a permanent opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer joining our Engineering Field Services team based in Leederville. You'll provide electrical engineering services for our water and wastewater infrastructure assets across WA. Work will include the provision of technical support and advice in asset management, contracting, design, and operations. Working within a team, a key function of this role is to provide technical advice, governance and scopes of work for the delivery of our Arc Flash risk mitigation program of works. What the role will involve Provide technical governance for the Arc Flash risk mitigation program of works. Providing technical advice on systems for collation and management of electrical asset information Modelling electrical systems and assessing arc flash risk Providing advice to and liaising with internal customers, external suppliers, service agencies, consultants, contractors, industry regulators and agencies Providing regional teams with assistance in the analysis of major or complex faults/failures and delivering strategic reports and designs for the improvement of electrical asset performance. Providing electrical advice to ensure safe maintenance and operation of electrical assets Key skills and experience You'll have a degree in Electrical Engineering, along with substantial experience with design, condition assessment & investigation and analysis of complex electrical engineering problems , contract management and technical support of operating assets . Knowledge of water and wastewater will be highly desirable . Your ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence with both internal and external stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
