Job DescriptionAs theHead of Engineeringfor our Technology Foundations stream, your responsibilities will be as follows: Partner with the Product, Design & Operations leaders to develop the Product Strategy & Roadmap Lead the delivery teams that are responsible for the delivery of our product roadmap and responsible for practices to help ensure we can deliver predictably Facilitate the continuous improvement of software delivery practices in the teams (i.e.
Software Guilds, Training & specific projects) Lead Platforms teams to ensure software delivery teams have the right infrastructure & tools required for them to the end to end delivery of their services Lead Platforms teams on the continual management of our cloud costs Collaborate with Legal, Risk & Information Security to ensure we are effectively managing risk Collaborate with the People team to create an outstanding people experience for the engineering team QualificationsTechnology skills & knowledge required to lead our Technology Foundations stream: Extensive experience in software engineering - Deep understanding of software engineering concepts and practices.
Ideally, former Senior Software engineer or Tech lead who has led complex software engineering projects.
Architecture - deep understanding of AWS services and how to compose them into a well-architected solution based on AWS 6 pillars of Well-Architected framework.
