About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Endpoint Environment Engineer to join our Digital Workplace Experience team within the Information Technology department at Swinburne.In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of Swinburne's Managed Operating Environments across endpoints and virtual environments with an emphasis on endpoint modern management by ensuring that end user configurations are purpose-driven and tailored to effectively fulfill client requirements. You will lead process improvements, provide a high level of service to the customers of Swinburne IT, liaise with senior staff and key stakeholders where necessary, and ensure the effective resolution of service issues as they arise, including hands-on involvement in investigation or an issue and leading other staff for an appropriate resolution.This role will provide third level technical support and guidance to team members by taking on escalated tickets, employing your expertise to swiftly diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee seamless IT operations.About YouTo be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:Experience in configuring, administering, and supporting IT infrastructure services including on-prem, cloud services and virtualization.Experience with endpoint operating systems and related services; experience with Microsoft Azure & O365, Virtual Desktop technologies.Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills, including the ability to interact, influence, and manage expectations.Understanding of Endpoint Security, ACSC essential 8 maturity model and experience with security tools.Experience with automation technologies and PowerShell scripts.QualificationsPostgraduate level qualifications (or progress towards) in information technology, information systems, or equivalent combination of experience/education/training.To ApplyPlease submit your CV and cover letter addressing your suitability for this position.For more information about the role, please email ****** Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children Check and a National Police Check.Applications Close: Friday, 27 September 2024 at 5pm.
