Senior Electrical Designer (Level 3 Asp)

Our client, a well-established family-owned engineering firm with a strong reputation for quality and professionalism, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Level 3 ASP) to join their rapidly growing in-house Electrical Design Department.
Key Responsibilities: Produce compliant electrical design drawings for underground and overhead services.
Manage electrical design projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to industry standards.
Mentor junior designers and draftspersons, fostering growth within the team.
Liaise with utilities, clients, and construction teams to ensure project success.
Conduct site visits for surveys, data collection, and resistivity testing.
Provide project quotes and perform quality assurance on designs.
Key Skills & Qualifications: Accredited on the Essential Energy Network Qualified to meet the registration criteria as a Category 3A and 3B Designer under the NSW Department of Planning and Environment Scheme.
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Level 3 Electrical Designer.
Expertise in using design tools such as AutoCAD, Microstation V8, LV Drop, and Essential Energy earthing tools.
Strong communication, client management, and project management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other industry-specific software.
NSW Driver's License and unrestricted Australian working rights.
White Card (or willingness to obtain).
Experience with NBN/Telstra pit and pipe designs (highly regarded).
