Senior Electrical Designer

Our client is providing engineering services for a billion-dollar biofuels project which will transform an existing refinery into an integrated energy hub to produce renewable fuels.They are looking for an experienced electrical designer to join the team working in the Perth CBD office with flexibility for working from home (WFH) days. Reporting to the Electrical Department Manager as well as the Project Manager, you will execute FEED, detailed design and execution support scopes.Responsibilities and RequirementsDeliver design and drafting services adhering to the clients and Australian regulatory requirements.Communicate with the project team, lead and workshare team regarding instrumentation discipline matters and consider interdisciplinary design interfaces.Proven experience with designing electrical deliverables:Single line diagrams (HV & LV)Schematics for panels such as incomers, feeders, VSDs & motor startersCable schedulesMaterial take offs/BOMElectrical equipment layoutsEarthing diagramsPanel general arrangementsExperienceHydrocarbons industry experience.Use of SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL), AVEVA 3D modelling packages (S3D, E3D, PDMS), lighting design software (DIALux, Agi32) will be highly regarded.Please note that full working rights in Australia is a requirement to be considered for the position.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as an Electrical Designer?
