Job Title: Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer/ Team Leader

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join our team. This role will enable you to apply your expertise across detailed E&I design projects, with an emphasis on the oil and gas industry. You'll be responsible for ensuring quality design and project outcomes while mentoring junior engineers to develop technical and project capabilities.
Key Responsibilities: Execute and oversee detailed E&I design deliverables including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), schedules, technical specifications, technical reports, field instrumentation design, control systems design, and electrical systems design (earthing, LV, HV).Conduct and verify engineering calculations and simulations to support high-quality technical outcomes.Provide mentorship and supervision to junior engineers, fostering professional growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs.Engage closely with clients and suppliers, particularly within the oil and gas sector, ensuring all project requirements align with technical and quality standards.Support Lead Engineers in budget and schedule planning and ensure project deliverables meet required timelines and specifications.Maintain strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, with a commitment to safety-first work environments.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with 10+ years of relevant industry experience.Significant experience in E&I design within the oil and gas sector, covering all phases of project lifecycles.Strong expertise in instrumentation specification, control systems, and electrical systems engineering (earthing, LV, HV).Proven experience with project management principles, especially within complex, multi-discipline oil and gas projects.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, suppliers, and project teams.A commitment to Quality Assurance and compliance with Business Assurance System (BAS) standards.Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in the oil and gas industry with a strong understanding of sector-specific regulatory standards and project requirements.Email ****** or apply directly.
