Federal Government Agency - NSW, ACT, VIC12 month contract with two extensions optionAustralian Citizen with ability to obtain Baseline ClearanceA Federal Government Agency is seeking .Net Full Stack Developer to work under the direction of Technical Leads and Directors, and has experience in the design and development of new and existing software applications. Key responsibilities:Design, build and test web applications across the full Microsoft stack, using technologies including .Net core, React, SQL.Work with Technical Lead and SMEs to translate user stories into technical designs for implementation & deployment.Write clean, scalable code using .NETRevise, update, refactor and debug codePlan, document, and manage assigned deliverables (tasks and stories in DevOps).Monitor and support Issues and Incidents in the environments.Collaborate with product managers, designers & other developers to define and implement quality solutions.Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering to deliver outcomes for the Agency.Skills & Experience:5+ Years development experience in C# and .NetStrong experience in web development using .Net Core, React, Next.js and SQLExperience using Visual Studio 2017+Experience with unit testing frameworks, such as xUnit.Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL Server 2008 – 2019Experience in technical design and documentationExperience in Azure, Git, DevOps pipeline deploymentProven attention to detailExperience using agile methodologies (i.e. SAFe)Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Experience in a digital transformation project or initiative.Desirable Skills:UX Design background with experience with AccessibilityExperience with modernization and conversion of older .Net Applications to Cloud Native ServicesMessage based System ArchitectureRelevant tertiary qualifications in information technology, software design and developmentNOTE: Applicant must be an Australian Citizen with ability to obtain Baseline Security ClearanceIf you have the right skills and experience please apply now through the job board quoting JL621396.Balance Consulting Services is committed to equal opportunity employment.
