Full-time Temporary with a Possibility of Permanency
Details: Expressions of interest (EOI) are sought for the position of Senior Director (SOG A), Sourcing, Advice and Supply Section (SAS) within the Goods and Services Branch, Procurement ACT.
The Senior Director (SOG A) reports to the Executive Branch Manager, Goods & Services, and has the role and responsibility for undertaking the management of a team of procurement officers for a SAS area, delivering advice and facilitation of complex procurement projects to a collective group of Territory entities; and for effectively contributing to the alignment of outputs to the tiered serviced delivery model and the management thereof under the Procurement Reform Program.
We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional with a strong customer-centric approach.
You will be experienced and familiar with procurement processes and enjoy working in partnership with others to deliver appropriate procurement outcomes and advice.
The successful candidate will have a high degree of emotional intelligence, being able to adjust your communication style for different audiences and engendering trust in your leadership with both Territory clients and team members.

Notes: There are two temporary positions available:
One for approximately three months (from January to April 2025);One for approximately eight months (from January to August 2025) with possibility of permanency.A merit pool may be used to fill identical temporary vacancies up to 12 months or identical permanent vacancies that arise during the next 12 months.
