Details: Community Services Directorate's Housing Assistance Division is seeking expression of interest from organised and motivated individuals to temporarily fill the position of Senior Director, Program Management Office within the Infrastructure and Contracts Branch.
The Senior Director assists the branch in managing and reporting on the annual capital program, including the Growing and Renewing Public Housing Program and Social Housing Accelerator Program.
As a senior leader, you will manage a small team to provide responsive and considered advice to support end-to-end strategic portfolio decision-making, as outlined in the ACT Housing strategy and the Public Housing Asset Management Strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of governance practices and will work closely with various teams throughout the branch and other Government Directorates to ensure targets and goals are met.
The role will be expected to demonstrate senior management and leadership capability, the ability to think strategically in an operational environment, and possess well-developed interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
The Program Management Office is undergoing a realignment, and the Senior Director will play a key leadership role in shaping the future state.

Eligibility/Other Requirements Highly desirable: Program Management Office experience.Desirable: Project/Program management qualification and/or other relevant tertiary qualification.Note: This is a temporary position available for a period of four months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.
