The Program Management Office (PMO) within the Asset Management and Delivery (AMD) Branch of the Education Directorate (EDU) supports the Directorate's vision to improve overall processes, documentation and reporting to guide the delivery of all infrastructure projects and programs by establishing a consistent approach.AMD is seeking applications for a Senior Director to manage the PMO within AMD.
The PMO Senior Director will lead a small team to establish and run the relatively new PMO function in the branch in a dynamic and changing environment.High level collaboration, negotiation and liaison, attention to detail and oral and written communication skills along with demonstrated and well-developed staff and stakeholder management skills are required for the role.The role requires an experienced manager with an extensive background in project and program management in a public sector environment.
The successful applicant will be a self-motivated, detail orientated person with strong leadership and people management skills, effective time management skills and the ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines.
