Through hard work, dedication and creativity, we've become industry leaders who have won awards and set records while remaining focused on continual growth and evolution.As the Senior Director of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for establishing and continuously improving the test practice, including the development of customized Quality Assurance frameworks that align with the unique processes and workflows needed to deliver high-quality software products for Coates' clients.The role will provide leadership and key objective measures to identify and address gaps in project delivery, conducting audits to ensure that products meet customer expectations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. They will promote best practices in testing and quality assurance, overseeing the entire software testing and QA processes within the organization.Individual AccountabilitiesDevelop a foundational test catalog for delivery and BAU systems.Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with company's goal and project objectives.Define test objectives, scope, and criteria for success.Identify and prioritize testing activities based on project timelines and risks.Review and uplift the defect management process to standardize the lifecycle and ownership of issues within release delivery.Hold the development teams accountable for investigating, reproducing and resolving issues.Hold the Business Analyst / requirements gathering teams accountable for ensuring requirements are in a testable state and rework levels are within +- 15% of a release timeframes.Ensure fixes are verified and that they meet expected customer quality standards.Define and track key quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of testing activities.Establish continuous improvement testing frameworks based on metrics and feedback.Mentor and guide QA engineers, providing technical assistance and career development.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the QA team.Qualifications and Experience10+ years in a senior software quality assurance leadership position.10+ years managing Senior Test Managers.A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.Extensive knowledge of quality control and quality assurance methods and techniques.Experience with auditing, inspection, and testing processes.Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).In-depth understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.A high level of knowledge of programming languages for test automation (e.g., Python).Detailed knowledge of SQL.Proven successful experience in developing test plans and conducting system and integration testing.Experience with issue tracking systems with extensive use of JIRA.Experience with procurement to secure new tools/partners as needed.ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification (CTASL-TM).Join a Crew that CaresBe part of a global team of talented, ambitious, creative people that value integrity, individuality and inclusivity.The benefits include an annual market competitive bonus program and our "Thrive Program" which includes a suite of flexible work options because we're strong believers that you should never miss an important life or work moment.
