Position:
The Senior Director, Digital Marketing will lead the development and execution of Annexon Biosciences' digital marketing strategy, playing a pivotal role in enhancing the company's online presence, driving digital engagement, and supporting the successful commercialization of our products. This position will initially function as an individual contributor, providing a foundation for future team leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
Create and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with the Annexon's overall marketing and business goals.
Oversee the company's digital channels, ensuring a strong and engaging online presence across websites, social media, and email platforms.
Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns, including content marketing, SEM, social media, and email marketing, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals.
Utilize digital analytics tools to monitor performance, track key metrics, and provide actionable insights to refine strategies and maximize ROI.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create compelling content that resonates with target audiences and reinforces the Annexon brand.
Implement best practices in SEO and SEM to enhance the company's visibility in search engines and drive qualified traffic to digital properties.
Work closely with Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations to support digital initiatives for clinical trial recruitment and medical communication, ensuring alignment with overall marketing efforts.
Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring the effective allocation of resources to achieve strategic objectives.
Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate innovative practices into Annexon's digital marketing strategies.
Build, manage, and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals, fostering a professional, collaborative and innovative work environment.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong background in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries, including team management experience.
Proven track record in developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies.
Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, and digital analytics.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Preferred:
An advanced degree is a plus.
Experience supporting Medical Affairs and clinical trial recruitment through digital channels is a plus.
Salary Range: $225,000 to $275,000
