Those better outcomes can only exist in the context of people irrespective of if we label them users, customers, patients, clients or even staff.The opportunityWe are currently on the lookout for a talented Senior Digital Strategist to work in our Sydney team delivering and implementing strategies that solve gnarly business problems for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover.The role aims to be both consultative, offering higher-end "up-stream" strategic thinking to our clients, as well as more "downstream" campaign and digital communications planning – working closely with social and content teams.Orchard Experience TeamYou will be part of the Orchard Experience Team. The traditional and the obvious doesn't cut it for our experience team. We are an uncommon bunch made up of UX-ers, CX-ers, data planners, CRM planners and social media planners. We relentlessly seek to uncover insights from culture, people, behaviour, the economy, and product truths - combining this with our experience in digital communications to inform our strategies and campaigns. We seek to answer true business problems through an evidence-based approach and happily work with data, UX and CX to ensure our solutions are fit for purpose.Responsibilities:Develop and implement cohesive digital strategies that align with client objectives and target audience insights.You will be responsible for leading the digital strategy on iconic clients across pharmaceutical, tourism, and financial service clients.Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.This is a hands-on role, so you will need to be the lead contact across the implementation of digital strategies for clients, ensuring the delivery of effective tactics, content and media.Optimisation and experimentation are key to campaign implementation at Orchard. You will need to work closely with our data and channel experts to review reporting and campaign data to provide holistic digital insights and recommendations to clients.You will run reporting calls and strategic review sessions with clients.Provide oversight and support for the implementation of paid media across social channels and search.Lead on digital content strategy and support teams in crafting effective social and digital content.Work closely with UX, data and development teams to advise on enhancing the digital experience and ensuring alignment to the digital strategy.Develop channel ecosystems that can reach and engage key audiences. You will be familiar with identifying creative ways to get in front of hard-to-target healthcare audiences (such as patients and healthcare professionals). You can link up this channel ecosystem into digital connections plans and journeys that move audiences along towards key actions.You will also work closely with client media agencies on strategy development and implementation. You are comfortable briefing and reviewing work with a media agency.Develop plans to activate campaigns across digital touchpoints.Write creative briefs for campaigns and see through the development of concepts and final assets.What you bring:7+ years' experience working in a strategic/planning function.Experience working with healthcare clients is required.Proven ability to develop comprehensive digital plans, and optimise the digital presence, including websites, social media profiles, and other platforms.Deep experience in social media & paid social media, particularly with Meta, and in-depth understanding of full funnel strategy across digital media channels.Experience in identifying and partnering with social media creators for content development is a plus.Experience in supporting/advising clients on channel governance across Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok.We'd love it if you have platform experience in Optimizely or Adobe Experience Manager, but this is not required.Ability to facilitate and lead client workshops to uncover business problems in a dynamic and collaborative way.Confident to lead, develop and present pitch-winning strategies that lead to new business.You are a highly skilled communicator, that knows how to convert complex analysis into simple and actionable strategies.Proven ability of working within a team.You're immersed in the industry and best practice; you know what works in digital & social.
