Summary of Role: As our site-based Digital Engineering (DE) Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the site teams and overseeing the implementation and management of DE processes during the construction and handover phases of a major rail infrastructure project.
Roles & Responsibilities: Driving supply chain outcomes, facilitated by Digital, enables efficient communication and coordination among project teams, contractors, and suppliers.
DE-related tasks, responsibilities, and supply chain requirements include conducting clash detection and resolution, managing BIM models and asset data, and providing training and support to project teams as necessary.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other relevant parties to ensure the successful integration and utilization of DE technologies and methodologies as well as compliance with client DE requirements.
Contribute to the improvement and optimization of existing DE workflows and processes.
What you will need: Technical proficiency, specifically in the software ecosystem commonly utilized in the Australian infrastructure market, including but not limited to Navisworks, iConstruct, Revizto, ProjectWise, BIM360, and PowerBi.
Proficiency in working with Ifc and OpenBim file formats.
Experience and interest in Automation and Dashboard Reporting would be looked upon favorably.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration, coordination, and conflict resolution with both technical and non-technical team members.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving DE, design, and construction-related issues and gaps.
