The ORS Dietetics team is expanding and we are seeking our next clinician to join us! You will join our NDIS division providing clinical services to participants aged 0-65. You will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent, and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses, and disability types.
You will work with an amazing group of clients with varying complexity and diagnosis, playing an integral part in your client's personal growth and development, working together to meet their goals. You will form a close bond with your clients and celebrate their achievements together, every step of the way.
The type of nutritional assessments, counselling, education, support, and planning you will provide include:
Healthy eating for people with a range of mental and/or physical disabilitiesHealthy eating principles around mindfulness eating and/or chronic health conditions: Diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, IBS, IBD, etc.Meal Time Management plansFussy eating plansTube feed plansMeal plansEating disordersYou will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth, and ORS offices.
You will have access to administration and IT support, Foodzilla - Online Meal Planning software, Medication and Nutrition database, online resources, Education In Nutrition (EIN), internal and external professional development opportunities, the opportunity for clinical specialisation, as well as career progression.
