We are seeking a seasoned DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team at Decidr.ai. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the heart of our infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across our tech stack.

Role Overview:You'll work closely with both development and operations teams to bridge system administration and code, playing a key role in deploying, monitoring, and managing our cloud-based applications and services. Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions for automated testing, building, and deploying applications to various environments.Provision, configure, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using best practices in security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure reproducible and consistent environments.Monitor system performance, configure alerts with AWS CloudWatch, and respond to incidents to ensure system reliability and availability.Collaborate with the development team to optimise application performance and ensure seamless integration of new technologies and architectures, focusing on serverless and microservices.Manage databases performance, backup, scalability, availability, and security.Secure applications and data for user authentication and authorisation, alongside implementing comprehensive security measures across the AWS stack.Ensure efficient management and troubleshooting of production issues, using tools like Sentry for error reporting and performance monitoring.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or similar roles, with a proven track record in managing AWS cloud infrastructure and services.Strong background in infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform and CI/CD pipeline development.Expertise in managing relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and understanding of database scalability and maintenance.Strong background using Kubernetes and DockerProficient in serverless architectures, specifically AWS Lambda, and familiar with microservices design patterns.Solid understanding of network, security, and disaster recovery principles in a cloud environment.Knowledge of monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch and error reporting tools like Sentry.Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across multiple teams.Commitment to best practices in documentation, coding standards, and version control with a keen interest in staying updated on the latest technological advancements.Ready to become part of something bigger?We've got a bold vision for the future and the drive to achieve it.
