A leading financial services provider is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong Docker and Jenkins experience to join their team on a permanent basis.
You will be joining a new, five-year greenfield transformation program, helping to build a new origination platform from scratch which will replace a number of existing applications. The main technology stack is Docker and Jenkins, and they are looking for candidates with strong problem-solving skills who will be able to contribute their ideas and experience to help shape and define their environment and tool selection. They are ideally looking for someone who has come from a Java development background who has strong scripting skills in either Shell or Python.
To be successful in this role you will need: Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications Demonstrated DevOps experience gained within large, complex environments Advanced knowledge and experience using Docker and Jenkins Strong scripting experience (Shell, Python) with experience coding in Java highly regarded Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a large project team This client is offering a hybrid working from home / office arrangements (preferably two days per week in their office on the Gold Coast), along with an attractive salary package.
