We have a 12-month contract (parental leave) opportunity for a Senior Development Manager to join our Development business working on one of our key city-based projects. You will provide management of the project team, the delivery of property development opportunities and projects in accordance with the strategic group and divisional objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Prepare project strategy and other associated formal documents.Review and oversee complex and/or multiple Development Briefs, Programmes, Feasibilities and Risk and Opportunity schedules.Balance and delegate objectives.Identify and manage Risks and Opportunities to optimise outcomes.Develop and implement appropriate management policies, systems and processes.Exemplary expertise in understanding legal aspects and obtaining authority approvals.Contribute to the Development PDP.Actively manage and develop people across larger and/or multiple teams.Your point of differenceYou will be professionally qualified with demonstrated experience working on large scale Commercial Mixed Use / Apartments asset class projects, ideally with approximately 8-15 years industry experience including experience managing and developing teams.You will be confident in conflict resolution in project and people management with master commercial/legal/financial acumen and solid understanding of the procurement, planning and tendering processes.You will be a strong leader, with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and complexity.All of these attributes are preferred; if you think you may be the right fit for the role, please still apply.
