Senior Developer (Full Stack)Clerk Grade 9/10Full-Time temporary to June 2026Hybrid working - Work anywhere in NSW - Parramatta is where the team sitsThis role sits within the Digital Taxes team within Revenue NSWWe are currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to deliver on a major program of work for the NSW Government. If you are a passionate developer with experience in migrating applications to the cloud or keen on exploring cloud-native development, we may have some good roles for you to be part of great fun-loving and results-oriented teams.The project is designed to enhance the standard resolution process for customers with tax debt by introducing a decision engine model. This model will specify the actions required to resolve each account and will automate bulk processing tasks, significantly reducing manual effort. By streamlining the debt resolution process, the project aims to improve resolution efficiency and lower the risks related to overdue debts.The project will be overseen by the Tax Debt Principal Product Owner, with a dedicated team of Business Analysts, Developers, and Quality Assurance professionals assigned to execute the project according to the delivery roadmap.Key Responsibilities:Be a hands-on developer while supporting team members and ensuring that delivered solutions meet business needs and adhere to coding and design standards.Have demonstrated experience in coaching and providing guidance and training to less experienced IT professionals.Promote and support agile/scrum development practices.Form collaborative relationships with business partners, professional stakeholders, 3rd party vendors, and other team members.Have excellent communication skills and be able to manage customer expectations.To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:Solid experience in Java development, Java 10+ desirable.Experience in Microservices and familiarity with Microservice patterns is preferred.Experience in AWS cloud development.Solid development experience in Spring Boot v2.x, Spring Data/Hibernate.Experience in writing Unit and Integration tests for Spring Boot applications.Experience in GIT; GitLab experience is a plus but not mandatory.Experience in SQL Queries, Oracle Queries.Experience in CI/CD pipeline is desirable.Good to have ReactJS exposure.Should know how to run Spring Boot apps in Docker containers and tune Docker configurations.What we need from you:An up-to-date CV and a brief cover letter outlining how your skills and experience align with the role.For inquiries regarding this position, please contact Savi Dwivedi via ****** Revenue NSW:Revenue NSW is the state's principal revenue management agency.
