Position Overview: Due to opportunities for growth, our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Design Manager to join their Queensland-based team on a permanent basis. This position will involve working on key projects throughout Queensland, focusing on essential sectors such as water management, transportation infrastructure, dam construction, rail, and sustainable energy initiatives. Your role will be crucial in driving the success and progress of these initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: As a Senior Design Manager, you'll lead design management efforts throughout proposal development and project execution. You'll also play a pivotal role in identifying, selecting, procuring, and managing designers for specific projects within the region to maximize opportunities and returns.
About You: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology (Civil), or equivalent qualification recognized by the Queensland Professional Engineers Act; RPEQ or CPEng registration is advantageous.Over 10 years' experience in civil design and construction, ideally for State or Federal government projects, with proven ability to manage design processes during tender and project delivery.Strong skills in estimation, communication, relationship management, and negotiation to contribute effectively to tenders, EOIs, and project success.Your application will include the following questions:
