About The Role
In this role, you will provide administration support to the Manager Swim, Sport and Leisure and the broader department, to ensure the smooth running and effective deliver of the department's objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
Deliver a range of day-to-day department administrative activities, proactively and effectively within agreed timelines Assist the Department in the processing of purchase orders and receipts. Collaborate with other Senior Department Administration Officers to review, identify and implement improvement opportunities to enhance ways of working and administration processes. Effectively manage activities and provide accurate information, data and documentation to resolve queries or aid decision-making. Identify and inform senior leaders of any process problems or inefficiencies and suggest improvement ideas.
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly experienced administration professional, with the ability and confidence to liaise with a diverse range of people. You will have a keen eye for detail, be highly organised, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and finding practical solutions to issues. Prior experience as a Personal Assistant will be highly beneficial.
Work type: Permanent Part Time (4 days per week)
Classification: Band 5 $76,355 - $86,617 pa plus super (pro rata)
Essential Experience:
Relevant experience in office administration or similar. Well-developed people skills to support, influence, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders. Ability for critical and analytical thinking and problem solving. Ability to proactively identify stakeholder support needs and provide quality outcomes. Ability to understand the wider business context and how the department's priorities and activities contribute to organisational objectives.
