Our values drive the way we do business, and we aim to make a difference through:Teamwork: Our teams are diverse, caring and productiveExcellence: We take pride in our work and encourage new ideas to deliver public valueIntegrity: We are ethical and accountable in all we doRespect: We are fair, trusting and appreciativeAs a Senior Database & Middleware Administrator, working Full-Time out of Hobart, TAS, your primary responsibility will be to support the Department's ICT systems, ensuring the integrity, security, availability, and performance of database systems.Your core responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:Installing, managing and maintaining middleware products and supporting databases to ensure security, performance, integrity and recoverabilityDesigning and implementing appropriate application middleware hosting environments to support development, testing, training and production activitiesParticipating in formulating and maintaining technical standardsProviding technical support for middleware and database issuesWorking with ICT teams to implement and support inter-application interfaces and integration with hosting platformsManaging, preparing and maintaining high-quality documentation to support the operations of middleware support services and corporate application hosting.What You'll Bring to the TeamTo qualify, you will need demonstrated, high-level experience in the delivery of middleware administration services using Microsoft SQL Server, and associated tools and technologies.Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (eg.
