Senior Database Administrator - Oracle

Long term contract - 12mth contract Hybrid - 2 days on-site Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Designing, installing and managing large Corporate Oracle databases As the Senior Database Administrator you will be responsible for: Daily queue jobs Operational tasks Project work (as required) Participation in a rotating on-call roster, including after hours and weekends Out of hours work may be required Skills needed to secure this contract: Extensive recent experience implementing and maintaining database security and access controls to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data assets. Experience installing, configuring, and managing advanced Oracle database features and related software. Experience designing and implementing high availability strategies, performing backups/recoveries, monitoring, tuning, cloning, scripting, patching, and upgrades. Experience in management of a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure collaborative work practices. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service focus and key stakeholder engagement.
