We are currently working with one of Australia's leading financial institutions whose talented team of Data Scientists, Analysts and Engineer's are currently working on a huge legacy system revamp.

This is a chance for a Senior Data Engineer with experience in Banking and Finance to join and help the business replace an existing system responsible for clearing and settlement. You'll be working downstream and upstream and inputting the data into new data products and reporting systems.

The Role & Responsibilities
The design and development of ETL pipelines and data warehouses. Working on large cloud migration in AWS & GCP. Collaborate with engineers across the group to uplift and streamline environment management by implementing automation capabilities. Building reports in Google looker. Collaborate with enterprise infrastructure teams on driving automation Reporting and documentation.Your experience: 
Minimum 6 years experience in Data Python, SQL, AWS, GCPExposure to Java is a big bonus Ideally have experience in finance or banking Strong BigQuery & ETL experience Effective communication, facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills. Able to effectively engage with senior members across the business.
