Senior Data Engineer

This organisation is a Top Tier Investment Manager which is experiencing continued growth in funds under management.
As a leader in the design, build and maintenance of the highest levels of investment management service offerings available, it is strategically positioned to offer its clients a top quartile performance for each market and asset class.

Reporting to the Head of Technology, this new Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for undertaking project based development activities including analysis, design, construction and testing involving detailed project management.
Your challenge will be to strategically support existing global investment systems and platforms with an innovative mindset to global best practice technology solutions.

Ideally, you will have previous data analytics or data engineering experience (3-5 years +) ideally in a financial services environment with advanced computer skills, coupled with data analysis or warehousing skills knowledge from an investment management, Banking or Superannuation environment.
A degree qualification in a computer science or IT discipline with programming experience in either Python, ETL/SQL, C# or Powershell will be well regarded.

This exciting new role will require a good communicator to partner with senior investment managers with relevant data warehousing and financial modelling skills and a professional and consultative investment manager focused approach.
