Position Summary: We are actively seeking a senior Data Engineer with Guidewire Policy center and Contact Manager migration experience.
In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to understand client business needs, contribute to the design process, focus on the technical solution, learn new technologies, and implement ETL jobs in an agile setting.
The ideal candidate should have comprehensive engineering experience across SSIS, SQL Server, Python, Databricks, Microservices, GitHub and Unix.
Proficiency in SQL programming is a must, along with experience in deploying code into multiple environments.
This role involves end-to-end responsibility for leading and delivering technologically advanced, cost-effective, and enterprise-aligned designs for projects and releases.
As a member of a squad, the engineer will work collaboratively with other tribe members to achieve business outcomes using agile methodologies.

Mandatory Skills: 10 years of design and build experience in Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, SSIS and SQL Server.
Hands On experience on python and Databricks is must.
Strong understanding of Guidewire policy and claims data model is mandatory.
Excellent hands-on experience in SQL.
Excellent experience in designing workflows in SSIS.
Excellent hands-on experience in SQL.
Extensive experience in data transformation and data modelling.
Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for the quality of outcomes.
Written and spoken communication skills sufficient to understand requirements and communicate complex concepts to business analysts' testers and related stakeholders.
Decision making and leadership ability.
Ability to manage a team of 8-10 developers.
Experience in shell scripting.
Demonstrated expertise in data cleaning using SCD-Type 1 and Type 2 methodologies.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Team player, collaborative approach, and excellent communication skills.
Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for understanding the source to target mapping from the technical lead.
Develop complex ETL and database scripts for Migration framework.
Deploy changes across different environments using GitHub.
Help in creating low level Migration design document.
Debug Guidewire Policy Centre and Contact manager issue and provide solution for the same.
Identify, debug, and propose enhancements or fixes for code issues.
Actively collaborate with the project team, provide updates on project progress and problem resolutions.
Monitor production jobs to ensure error-free completion.
