We work to make the region a great place to live, work, and thrive. What will I bedoing? ü Manage and update H-GAC multilayer models. Models include the activity-based model, 4-step travel demand model (TDM), dynamic traffic simulation model (DTA) and micro-simulation model ü Provide modeling support for corridor planning studies, sub-area planning studies and special planning studies ü Demonstrated expertise and experience in TDM validation and calibration ü Assist in researching and developing modeling features related to emerging transportation technologies, transformative modes, and shared mobilities ü Prepare advanced technical information and effectively communicate that information to external and internal audiences orally, in writing, and in presentations KeyQualifications ü Technical expertise in one or more transportation modeling software programs: Bentley (Citilabs) CUBE VOYAGER, Metropia DynusT, PTV VISUM, VISSIM, VISTRO and Synchro ü Knowledge of data analysis and visualization software: GIS or Tableau, ü Ability to plan, organize and manage the technical components of a travel demand modeling project Do you have… ü Bachelor's degree in an applicable academic discipline orrelatedfield of study ü 5years of experienceworking with local government, nonprofit programs, school or in job related duties Preferred qualifications ü Master's degree in (urban) planning, transportation engineering or a related field of study on traffic forecast modeling ü Hands-on experience in Python or R ü Familiarity with GIS and experience working with and visualizing spatial data Expected Hiring Salary Range ü $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 #J-18808-Ljbffr
