We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Credit Risk Manager to join our Middle Office, Credit Risk Management Department (CRM).
Reporting to the Head of Credit Risk Management, this role will provide an excellent opportunity to work in a Global Institutional Bank, covering various sectors and products.
Key ResponsibilitiesCredit Monitoring and Risk Management: Manage credit monitoring for Front Office customers, including loan documentation checks, financial covenant control, and provision of Risk Management Data and report preparation.Documentation Review and Approval: Review legal agreements against approved terms and conditions of credit application and provide approval prior to signing (Loan Agreement, ISDA, Security Deed, Trade Finance, and other credit documentation).Facility Data Management: Review and check facility data input into the required systems to ensure compliance with the facilities approved terms and conditions.Covenant Checks and Reporting: Prepare and maintain covenant checks for both Japanese and non-Japanese clients and ensure compliance with all insurance requirements for both Japanese and non-Japanese clients as documented.Risk Management Committee Reporting: Prepare and review aspects of Risk Management Committee reporting as tasked and prepare all relevant reports to APRA in compliance with APRA requirements.Collaboration and Communication: Instruct Loan Administration and other Back Office departments for the commencement or extension of transaction/customer data into the relevant system(s).Quality Assurance: Oversee and check reports prepared by other CRM staff.APRA Reporting and Audit Support: Supporting APRA reporting with other members of the Credit Risk Management team and supporting the preparation of external and internal audit reviews.RequirementsAt least 5 years' experience in Credit Risk Management as a Credit Analyst or related position, ideally with a Bank or Financial Institution.Ability to understand and interpret financial statements and strong understanding of financial products.Sound experience of collating financial information for credit risk reporting.Good understanding of financial products, banking practices, and processes of the role of credit within a bank.Sound experience of collating financial information for credit analysis.High level of numeracy and accuracy, strong financial analysis skills, and good attention to detail.Good communicator, both verbally and in writing at business level.Good understanding of APLMA loan documentation.
