Our Payroll Team has an exciting opportunity for a highly resourceful and passionate Payroll Officer

to support the payroll function of our National, multi-faceted business on a 6-month contract.
Reporting directly to the Group Payroll Manager, you will be an expert in enhancing and delivering on all things Payroll - processing, reporting and compliance to deliver greater efficiency for Finance and add further value to the business, without compromising day-to-day accuracy.
A day in the life:

Manage and ensure the processing of the weekly Payroll in an accurate and timely manner Accurate reconciliation of weekly Payrolls as specified in the payroll checklists and procedures Ensure the Payroll function of your business unit operates within the compliant framework of Enterprise Agreements, Government Legislation and Taxation & Superannuation Provide clear and thorough communication of Award and Enterprise agreements to Employees at all levels within the business Proactive resolution and communication of Payroll related queries Assisting in the calculation of special payments or preparation of reports and audits as required

To succeed in the role, you will need:

2 - 4 years' experience in a large and complex Payroll environment Previous experience in using and operating Payroll Systems (We use Zambion, which is very similar to Oracle!)
Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to communicate and interpret Enterprise Agreements and Awards Solid understanding of payroll reporting/analytics High level of customer service and collaborative skills Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
