We are actively seeking a Temporary Senior Course Administrator to join an Oxford University department in the heart of Oxford.
This position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to and improve administrative processes within a well-established educational setting.
You will take a lead role in supporting students, academic staff, and department operations.
This is a full-time temporary role for 12 weeks, ideal for an organised and proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative, academic environment.
Key Responsibilities: Process Improvement & Supervision: Guide and support junior team members, deliver training, and assist in complex case management.
Contribute actively to departmental process improvements and system development. Admissions Management: Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students, providing admissions guidance, managing application records, and overseeing interview and enrollment processes. On-Course Administration: Act as the main contact for students and tutors, managing course regulations, coordinating teaching materials, and supporting course logistics, including exam preparation. Financial and Transaction Management: Assist with budgeting, invoicing, procurement, and fee tracking.
Manage student payments, withdrawals, and suspensions. Publicity & Website Management: Work alongside Marketing to ensure course materials and webpages are current and accurately represent course offerings. Selection Criteria: Proven experience with eVision. Strong organisational and administrative skills with an exceptional attention to detail. Flexible and adaptable, with excellent time-management abilities. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. High standard of numeracy and experience managing data. Able to work independently with strong problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in IT systems, including spreadsheets, databases, and the ability to quickly learn new platforms.
