Due to significant growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients Australia wide, Turner & Townsend's Senior MEP Cost Manager will undertake pre and post contract client facing duties for our Real Estate, Defence and Infrastructure projects typically both in T&T office and in client offices across various projects in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Perth.
Experience with MEP cost planning, estimating for major utilities, building services, cost reporting, procurement, contract and commercial management is essential.
Tender analysis experienceProcurement and contract advisory experienceCommercial reporting experienceVariation assessment experienceTeam training and best practiceLead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interfaceDeveloping working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completionManaging the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectationsReviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.Managing project safety and environmental requirementsManaging project timelines, risks and reportingManaging project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on trackChairing project/site meetings with clients, consultants and contractorsBeing engaged with marketing and business development initiativesRICS, AIQS with Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or MEP Engineering degree required.
